Country tables: how a country is ranked in Standing
Standing has a table for each country and a table of countries. A country's total is the season points added under its label, minus reversed points.

01The short answer
In Standing, each country is ranked by the season points added under its label, minus any points that were reversed. A country is ranked only once enough players have points for it; the current number is shown in the app. The countries table is for information only. No country or player receives an award for a place in it.
02The country on your profile
The country on your profile is a label you choose. It is not a passport or a location.
- It starts as the country of your App Store account.
- You can change it once every 30 days.
- Your country code is public, next to your nickname, points and place.
Using a VPN, proxy or similar tool to appear to be in another country is against the League Rules.
03A country's own table
A country's table lists the players who currently show that country. It ranks them by the season points added under that country.
This has one practical effect. If you change your country during a season, your score in the new country's table counts only the points added after the change, under the new label. Your place in the world table does not change.
Ties follow the same rule as everywhere in Standing: the player who reached the score earlier is placed higher. How the Standing table is ranked covers the full ordering.
04The table of countries
The countries table ranks countries against each other for the current season.
- Every point added in the season is counted for the country on the player's profile at the moment it was added.
- Points that are later reversed, for example after a refund by Apple, are taken off that country's total.
- Countries are ordered by that total, highest first.
There is no adjustment for population. A small country with active players can stand above a large one.
In the app you can see the total counted for your country this season and its place among ranked countries.
05When a country is ranked
A country receives a place in the countries table only once enough players have points for it. The threshold is set by the server and shown in the app, next to the method.
The threshold exists so that a country with a single player does not appear near the top on the strength of one account. Until then, it has no place in the countries table.
06The Following table
Next to the world and country tables, Standing has a table of the players you follow, with you among them. It uses the same order: points, then time.
- Following is one-way. Players are not told who follows them.
- Your list of followed players is visible only to you.
- If you block a player, you stop following them and no longer see their nickname. Their row and place stay in the table.
The Following table is often the one that matters most day to day: a place among people you know is easier to read than a place in the world table.
